Raytheon Australia Learjet 35A Bizjet VH-ESM Also Starts Flying Sorties from Rockhampton Airport as "Shadow"

As the RAAF Hawks started flying Sorties - see Blog post below - so did the visiting Raytheon Australia Learjet 35A VH-ESM which was photographed also completing two sorties from Rockhampton during Sunday 14 July.

In the morning. VH-ESM was heard to use the radio callsign of "Shadow 11".

While in the afternoon it was noted flying as "Shadow 21".

Meanwhile, again on Sunday 14 July, the visiting GoJet / Air Affairs (Australia) Learjet 35A and Learjet 36A bizjets that have deployed to Gladstone Airport continue to fly sorties in support of operations to the South during joint Military Exercise Talisman Sabre 2019 (TS19).

Photographed departing Gladstone Airport in the morning were Learjet 36A bizjet VH-SLF as "Bosun 11" and Learjet 35A bizjets VH-LJJ as "Bosun 12" and VH-SLD as "Bosun 13".

It appears they returned to the air in the afternoon but with slightly different callsigns.

Sincere thanks to the local plane spotters for taking the time capture and send through these great photos!
