Hinterland Aviation Beech B200 King Air VH-HLJ Calls into Central Queensland Airports - Plus More!

It was interesting to note that on Friday 6 March, Hinterland Aviation Beech B200 King Air VH-HLJ called into some Central Queensland Airports while on a busy day of flying out of and back to its Cairns base.

VH-HLJ was noted flying as 'HND728' and looked to arrive into Mackay Airport from Cairns and Townsville.  It then continued to Brisbane (as shown) before returning North to Rockhampton Airport and then Cairns.

UPDATE!  It has been reported that VH-HLJ was chartered by the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) / Queensland Government (State of Queensland) to complete prisoner transfer flights.

Meanwhile, in light of the above information, also on Friday 6 March, the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-PSU also had a busy day in the air, also calling into Rockhampton Airport twice while flying from Cairns and Townsville to Brisbane and then back.

Finally, on Thursday 5 March, another nice King Air in the form of Austrek Aviation Beech B200 King Air VH-WXO was noted visiting Injune and Moura Airports on two flights from its Toowoomba base.  Fellow Austrek Aviation Beech B200 King Air VH-ZMW was also noted visiting Injune Airport, also from Toowoomba, also on Thursday 5 March.
