Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Lockheed C-130J-30 Hercules A97-464 Touch-and-Go at Rockhampton Airport

Also on Tuesday 11 March, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Lockheed C-130J-30 Hercules A97-464 was noted completing a 'touch-and-go' landing and departure at Rockhampton Airport.

The Herc looked to fly up from RAAF Base Richmond just outside of Sydney and continued to Townsville following the touch-and-go at Rocky.

A97-464 was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Ausy 483".

UPDATE!  A97-464 "Ausy 483" was back in the region on Friday 13 March with it believed to have completed low-level airwork around Taroom and Wondai before it headed to and landed at RAAF Base Amberley.
