Perhaps the more notable aircraft spotted by Anthony was Careflight (Qld) Bell 412 VH-XCF which positioned into Gladstone on Friday 20 June from the Gold Coast via Archerfield and Hervey Bay.
VH-XCF is seemingly taking up residence at Gladstone Airport to replace the locally-based Careflight Bell 412EP VH-XCY which positioned to Archerfield on Friday presumably for maintenance.
Also spotted performing circuits at Gladstone Airport on Saturday 21 June was Australasian Jet-operated Cessna 206 VH-XBF
VH-XBF is one of two Australasian Jet Cessnas that Ergon Energy’s Remote Observation Automated Modelling Economic Simulation (ROAMES) project of aerial surveys. Interestingly, the other Cessna 206 - VH-FEN - was also spotted by Anthony at Gladstone Airport earlier this week.
On the commercial front, QantasLink Dash-8-Q400s VH-QOE and VH-QOV were captured visiting Gladstone Airport.
Finally, Evektor Sportstar 24-8995 of the Pro-Sky Flight Training Group, which, in conjunction with the Gladstone Aero Club, continues to provide RA-Aus flight training at Gladstone Airport, was spotted conducting several training flights. The Gladstone Aero Club has recently advised that Pro-Sky’s flight training training is going very well and is always busy. On some weekends, it has been necessary to bring a second instructor and aircraft. The Gladstone Aero Club reports that they have received only positive feedback from students regarding Pro-Sky.
