New Challenger 604 Bizjet VH-VLZ Calls into Hamilton Island Airport Monday

Sunshine Air Services (of Victoria) recently delivered Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-VLZ touched down at Hamilton Island Airport on Monday 6 July from parts unknown.  The 2003-build Challenger 604 was only delivered late last month and presumably replaces a Hawker 800XP VH-VRC which departed Australia just prior.

Also touching down at Hamo on Monday 6 July was the familiar sight of Corporate Aviation Bell 429 Helicopter VH-EQP which again arrived from its Southport base, via fuel stop at Gladstone.

A photo on Instagram from Hamilton Island shows that QantasLink Dash-8-Q400 Next Gen VH-LQL called in operating the QLK2824/2825 service from and back to Brisbane on Monday 6 July.

VH-LQL continues to wear its very attractive colour scheme promoting the Taronga Western Plains Zoo at Dubbo in New South Wales.

Finally, on Sunday 5 July, Brenzil Dassault Falcon 7X bizjet VH-CRW departed Hamilton Island for its Brisbane base.  It arrived on Hamo over a week ago!
