A familiar bizjet visitor to CQ was back on Friday 30 October with Edwards Coaches Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-KXL noted calling into Mackay and Emerald Airports.

VH-KXL initially called into Mackay from Armidale and Sydney before it landed at Emerald Airport in the early afternoon. It later departed to Tamworth.
VH-KXL was believed to have brought Senator Barnaby Joyce to CQ to inspect infrastructure projects and visit a local agricultural college and farms.
