Not One - But Four - Cessna Citiation Bizjets Call into Roma Airport - Plus More!

A really busy day at Roma Airport on Monday 19 November with four locally-based Cessna Citation bizjets noted calling in on various flights up and down through Queensland.

First to touch down was Mitchell Water Cessna 525 Citation M2 VH-WMY.  It called in from Melbourne (Moorabbin) via the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.  It then departed back to Moorabbin via the Sunshine Coast and Balranald in Victoria.

Then, it appeared that no less than three Citations all called in from Far North Queensland - at least two of them returning to Roma from Lizard Island via Cooktown after they headed North on Friday 16 November.

Professional Jet Aviation Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 VH-CDG looked to arrive first.  It then departed to Sydney before heading to its Gold Coast base.

Brisbane-based Cessna 525A CitationJet2 VH-MOR also arrived from the North and also later departed to Sydney.  It then flew to its Archerfield base.

It also appears that Vanguard Aviation Cessna 525 CitationJet1 bizjet VH-DAA also visited Roma Airport on Monday 19 November.  It too arrived from Far North Queensland and departed to the South.

Meanwhile, also on Monday 19 November, Corporate Aviation Bell 429 Global Ranger helicopter VH-EQP was back in CQ calling into Biloela / Thangool Airport from Southport.  It appears to have continued to Mackay Airport.

UPDATE!  VH-EQP returned to Southport from Mackay Airport via Bilo on Wednesday 21 November.

Finally, late on Monday 19 November, Execujet Australia Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-VSZ was noted arriving into Hamilton Island Airport from Sydney.  At the time of writing, it is returning to Sydney.
