Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail AEW&C A30-006 Missed Approach at Gladstone Airport

On Monday 5 August, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-006 was noted completing a missed approach at Gladstone Airport.

A30-006 was flying as "Wedgetail 01" and looked to fly up from RAAF Base Williamtown and complete missed approaches at RAAF Base Amberley and Townsville.  It then flew South and completed a missed approach at Gladstone Airport before returning back direct to Williamtown.

Meanwhile, on Sunday 4 August, RAAF Beech B350 Super King Air A32-651 was noted visiting Rockhampton Airport.  It looked to arrive direct from RAAF Base East Sale and later departed to RAAF Base Amberley.  A32-651 was noted flying as "Beaufort 14".
