American Registered Bombardier Global 5000 Bizjet N2QE Calls into Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

Certainly a nice bizjet to once again visit Hamilton Island Airport this time on Friday 16 August was American registered Bombardier BD-700-1A11 Global 5000 N2QE.  The sleek bizjet looked to arrive from Sydney where it arrived from overseas the previous day.

N2QE has visited Hamilton Island Airport on previous occasions and this time it appears to be staying at Hamo for at least the night.

UPDATE!  It appears that N2QE depared Hamilton Island Airport for the Darwin and overseas on Sunday 18 August.

Meanwhile, also noted visiting the Whitsundays yet again, also on Friday 16 August, was Mitchell Water Cessna 525 Citation M2 bizjet VH-WMY.  It looked to fly up from Melbourne (Moorabbin) direct to the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour before making the short hop over the Hamilton Island Airport.  After a couple of hours on the ground, VH-WMY departed Hamo and returned to Moorabbin via Melbourne (Essendon).

While also on Friday 16 August, Balmoral Air Dassault Falcon 2000LX bizjet VH-WIO was noted making yet another visit to Hamilton Island Airport.  As per usual, it arrived from and later departed back to Bankstown.

Finally, a nice little familiar bizjet to pop into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coait) Airport late on Thursday 15 August was AirMed Australia Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-NEQ.  It looked to arrive from Ayers Rock, Mount Isa and Cairns.  After spending the night, VH-NEQ departed Prosie for Bankstown on Friday 16 August.
