On Monday 12 August, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III transport aircraft A41-213 was spotted completing some airwork at and around Rockhampton Airport.
It looked to fly up from RAAF Base Amberley and was heard to complete three practice VOR approaches and low overshoots at Rockhampton Airport.
It then returned to Amberley.
A41-213 was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Stallion 62".
Meanwhile, earlier on Monday 12 August, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-006 was noted completing a missed approach at Bundaberg Airport.
A30-006 was flying as "Wedgetail 16" and looked to fly up to Bundy from RAAF Base Williamtown in New South Wales via a missed approach at Coffs Harbour. After completing the airwork at Bundaberg Airport. it returned South to William via airwork at an unknown inland New South Wales airport.
