Crown Melbourne Bombardier Global Express XRS Bizjet VH-CCX Departs Mackay Airport for Hamilton Island Airport and Home!

On Monday 7 October, Crown Melbourne (Crown Hotels) Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express XRS bizjet VH-CCX was noted departed Mackay Airport.  It flew back to Hamilton Island Airport before it then returned 'home' to its Melbourne (Essendon) base.

VH-CCX had arrived into Mackay Airport on Friday 4 October where it was parked after flying in from Essendon and Hamilton Island Airport.

Meanwhile, also noted visiting Mackay Airport, also on Monday 7 October, was the familiar sight of Vanderfield Pilatus PC-12/47 VH-WPH.

The PC-12 arrived direct from its Toowoomba base and later departed to Emerald Airport where it appeared to be staying for the night.

UPDATE!  During the rest of the week, VH-WPH was noted also visiting Biloela / Thangool and Bundaberg Airports while also returning to Emerald and Mackay Airports.  A busy week!
