Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail AEW&C A30-006 Missed Approach at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport - And Bundaberg Airport - UPDATED!

On Tuesday 8 October, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-006 was noted completing a missed approach at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.

A30-006 was flying as "Wedgetail 01" and flew up to the Fraser Coast from RAAF Base Williamtown.  After completing the airwork at Hervey Bay Airport, the Wedgetail departed back to Williamtown.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 9 October, A30-006 was back in the region, and was noted completing a missed approach at Bundaberg Airport.  It again flew up from RAAF Base Williamtown, but via a missed approach at RAAF Base Amberley.  A30-006 then returned to Williamtown.  On this occasion, it was heard to be flying as "Wedgetail 07".
