RAAF Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-006 "Wedgetail 04" was noted spotted a missed approach at Bundaberg Airport. It flew up from and later returned to its 'home' at RAAF Base Williamtown in New South Wales.
After completing the airwork at Bundy, A30-006 then flew South and landed at RAAF Base Amberley for a couple of hours. It then returned to Williamtown.
Soon after, RAAF Airbus A330-203 / KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) A39-002 was spotted climbing out of Rockhampton Airport after it completed a missed approach.
The KC-30A was flying as "Dragon 44" and looked to call into Rockhampton from the North. It appears to have flown up from RAAF Base Amberley to Townsville where it landed for a short time.
After completing the airwork at Rockhampton Airport, A39-002 returned to Amberley.
