Three Seair Pacific / Istlecote Aircraft at Rockhampton Airport - DHC-6-100 Twin Otter VH-ZKF and Cessna 208 Caravans VH-LYT & VH-TQW

On Wednesday 8 April, three Seair Pacific / Istlecote were noted and spotted visiting Rockhampton Airport (amongst other places).  Perhaps the nicest visitor (in my opinion) was their DHC-6-100 Twin Otter VH-ZKF which arrived from the Gold Coast and Brisbane.  It then departed Rockhampton Airport and flew to Collinsville Aerodrome and Townsville.

After around 30 minutes in Townsville, VH-ZKF returned to Collinsville Aerodrome and then Rockhampton Airport ( as pictured above).  It then returned to Brisbane and then its Gold Coast base.

Meanwhile, Cessna 208 Caravans VH-LYT and VH-TQW were also noted arriving into Rockhampton Airport.  They both looked to fly up from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport and both looked to be staying parked at Rocky for the night.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 9 April, both VH-LYT and VH-TQW made very early departures from Rockhampton Airport to Wanella Station (near Coppabella).  They then flew close together to Maryborough Airport and then back to Hervey Bay Airport.

Sincere thanks to local plane spotter Steve V who was a the right place at the right time to capture this great photo!
