Many Alliance Airlines FIFO Charter Flights to Central Queensland Airports This Week

We mentioned last week that Alliance Airlines had looked to 'pick-up' some additional and new Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flights in the Central Queensland during this current Coronavirus crisis.  And during the course of this week, it has been interesting to note just how many of their Fokker F-70 and F-100 jets have called into various CQ Airports.  Here's a summary...

Thursday 9 April...

We've heard unconfirmed reports that most of these FIFO charter flights will occur for at least the next four week or longer with some mining companies issuing directives that their employees are not to use Regular Passenger Transport (RPT) flights for travel to and from work.
