AMSA Bombardier Challenger 604 Bizjet VH-XND "Rescue 660" Pops into Bundaberg Airport - Plus More!

Early on Wednesday 30 December, Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) (Cobham SAR Services Pty Ltd) Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-XND "Rescue 660" was noted calling into Bundaberg Airport after flying up from Melbourne (Essendon).

It reportedly came up to Bundy to coordinate a search in the area, although it was called off before the Challenger touched down.

Also noted arriving into Bundaberg Airport to participate in the 'search' was LifeFlight Agusta Westland AW139 helicopter VH-XIA which flew up from Archerfield as "Guardian 10".

And locally-based LifeFlight Rescue Bell 412EP VH-XCK "Rescue 522" was also involved in the search out of Bundaberg Airport.
