Three Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Beech B350 Super King Airs Pop into Longreach Airport

On Thursday 3 December, three Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Beech B350 Super King Air twin-turboprops were noted passing through Longreach Airport while on the latest sector of a cross-country flight out of their RAAF Base East Sale 'home' in Victoria.

They were noted landing at Longreach from Alice Springs and were identified as A32-670 flying as "Hudson 07" / "Hudson 04", A32-675 as "Hudson 05" and A32-426 as "Hudson 35".

After taking on fuel, they each again flew separately from Longreach Airport to the Sunshine Coast - where they are pictured above.

Of interest, the three RAAF Super King Airs departed East Sale on Monday 30 November and have called into Moruya, Inverell, Coffs Harbour, RAAF Base Richmond, Broken Hill, Birdsville and Alice Springs.

UPDATE!  On Friday 4 December, the three RAAF Super King Airs all departed the Sunshine Coast and returned to RAAF Base East Sale.  A32-426 departed first as "Hudson 07" and flew via a missed approach at Inverell.  A32-670 as "Hudson 04" flew via a missed approach at Tamworth and then Wagga Wagga.  While A32-675 as "Hudson 05" flew via a missed approach at Wagga Wagga.
