On Thursday 8 July, Air Charter Services / Flight Options (Australia) Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300 bizjet VH-VKX was noted arriving into Hamilton Island Airport. It looked to touch down from Sydney and Brisbane.
At the time of writing, it appears that VH-VKX is staying at Hamo for at least the night.
Over on the mainland at Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport, also on Thursday 8 July, Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100 bizjet VH-LXZ was noted visiting. It looked to arrive from Bankstown via Coffs Harbour and later depart back directly to Bankstown.
Also noted arriving into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport, also on Thursday 8 July, was Sinclair Air Charter (Flinders Island) Gippsaero GA8 Airvan VH-ANE. Over the course of this week, it has flown up from Bridport in Tasmania and touched down at Prosie from Charleville Airport.
Of interest, VH-ANE was only registered to Sinclair Air Charter in March this year and has spent time previously operating for the locally-based GSL Aviation.
And newly registered Heliflite (NSW) Robinson R44 helicopter VH-FND also arrived into Proserpine Airport from Rockhampton Airport.
Finally, also on Thursday 8 July, Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) Metro 23 VH-VEK was noted visiting Longreach Airport. It looked to arrive from and later depart back to Brisbane.
And Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-WXB flew up directly to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site from Toowoomba-Wellcamp Airport.
It is due to return to Wellcamp early on Friday 9 July.
