On Tuesday 12 October, Air Gold Coast Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-CDG was noted visiting Longreach Airport twice during a busy day of flying. It departed the Gold Coast to Brisbane before then flying into Longreach Airport. VH-CDG then continued up to The Monument before returning to Longreach Airport and then back to the Gold Coast.
It looks like VH-JSZ flew up to Charters Towers Aerodrome from Archerfield and Dalby on Monday 11 October.
While Brisbane-based Piper PA-31-350 VH-RPV made a late arrival into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport from Archerfield on Monday 11 October. It returned to Archerfield on Tuesday 12 October.
And Brisbane-based Hewitt Cattle Australia P/L SOCATA TBM 700 VH-PGA flew up from Archerfield to Moura and then Charters Towers Airports before then returning to Moura Airport, also on Tuesday 12 October.
UPDATE! Wednesday 13 October, VH-PGA returned to Archerfield from Moura Airport.
Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 12 October, Aircraft Australia Cessna 182 VH-MLY and Cessna 172 VH-JIP flew up together from Redcliffe to Mackay Airport. The Brisbane-based Cessnas have flown up from Aircraft Australia's Redcliffe base to Mackay Airport where they are hosting an Open Day on Wednesday 13 October from 12noon where budding aviators can find out more about a career in aviation - they are even offering FREE flights with one of their instructors.
Aircraft Australia will officially kick off operations at Mackay Airport in early November.
And Seair Pacific / Istlecote Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208B Caravan VH-TLH arrived into Longreach Airport from Cooktown and Laura. It appears to be on another closed tourist charter flight and completed a similar set of flights at the end of last month.
UPDATE! On Thursday 14 October, VH-TLH departed Longreach Airport for Rolleston Aerodrome.
Finally, also on Tuesday 12 October, the continuing visits by Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) aircraft into Rockhampton Airport continued with SAAB 340B VH-VEO and Metro 23 VH-VEK both noted arriving from and later departed back to Brisbane during the day.
