After spending the night parked, on Sunday 3 October, VH-BSM departed Longreach Airport and returned to Archerfield.
Meanwhile, also on Sunday 3 October, Heli-Hire Australia Robinson R44 II helicopter VH-VOV departed Hamilton Island Airport and called into Rockhampton and the Maryborough Airports.
Finally, also on Sunday 3 October, Helicorp (Toll Group) / Australian Army marked Leonardo S.P.A. Helicopters (Agusta) AW139 helicopter VH-YBF, departed Charleville Airport for Mackay and then Townsville Airports.
VH-YBF had flown up from Melbourne (Essendon) and Cobar to Charleville Airport on Saturday 2 October.
As mentioned previously, VH-YBF was the first of three AW139 helicopters that have been leased to the Australian Army's 5th Aviation Regiment based at Townsville. They have been provided to the Army to provide a similar capability to the NH Industries MRH-90 so pilots can keep up their hours.
