Another Big Week of Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Action as the Singapore Armed Forces Exercise Wallaby 2021 Continues at Rockhampton Airport

Again, the end of the week saw no flying, but over the remainder of the week, the various Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and helicopters were kept busy coming and going at Rockhampton Airport as the Singapore Armed Forces Exercise Wallaby 2021 (XWB21) continues.

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Lockheed C-130H Hercules transport aircraft '733' continues to 2-3 flights each day to the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) and back to Rockhampton Airport.  It was spotted below on Monday 11 October and has been heard to use the radio callsign "Condor" for each of its flights which have also included nighttime sorties.

Monday also saw a formation of all four of the deployed Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Boeing AH-64D Apache helicopters complete a sortie also from Rockhampton Airport to the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) and back.  They were heard to fly as "Astro".

Other days, the Apaches were heard flying in groups of 2 or 3, again as "Astro" and also as "Avon".

And the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Boeing CH-47F Chinook helicopters also continue to complete sorties also from Rockhampton Airport to the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) and back.  They have been again flying singularly and in formation as "Cyclops" and "Celtic".

Sincere thanks to local photographer Steve V for again allowing us share these great photos!
