On Wednesday 11 January, Air Charter Services / Flight Options (Australia) Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300 bizjet VH-VKX was noted visiting a couple Central Queensland Airports.
It looked to fly up from Brisbane to land at Rockhampton Airport before then departing to Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport. VH-VKX is due to return to Brisbane on Thursday 12 January.
While MT Air Charters / Pilatus Australia Pilatus PC-24 Super Versatile Jet VH-PIL landed at Gladstone from Sydney and Newcastle (Williamtown) before then departing to Adelaide.
And Vanguard Aviation Cessna 525 CitationJet1 bizjet VH-DAA departed Hamilton Island Airport for Archerfield. It had flown up to Hamo from there last Wednesday 4 January.
Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 11 January, Telford Aviation Beech A36 Bonanza VH-MPT was noted flying out of the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour for Bowen Aerodrome before then flying South to Rockhampton Airport and Archerfield. It appears to have flown up from Archerfield to Shute Harbour via Rockhampton Airport the previous day.
Moorabbin Aviation Services (Victoria) Raytheon B200 King Air VH-VTQ flew up from Melbourne (Essendon) to Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport. It is due to fly back to Essendon but via Bourke on Thursday 12 January.
DeGunst Transport P/L Textron (Cessna) 208 Caravan VH-NPZ visited Mackay Airport from its Bundaberg Airport base.
Moree-based Cessna U206G VH-MKN looked to arrive into Emerald Airport from the South.
The Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ visited Rockhampton Airport from Mount Isa once again - third day in-a-row this week!
Lane Aviation / Team Aviation Cirrus SR22 VH-YQF visited Rockhampton Airport from its Archerfield base via Toowoomba.
And various Hinterland Aviation aircraft were noted flying from different locations into the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site.
Cessna 208 Caravan VH-LZK flew down from Townsville to Labona and then Mackay Airport and then back to Labona and Townsville as HND280/1/2/3.
Cessna 208 Caravans VH-TFQ and VH-ETF operated out of Rockhampton Airport.
Beech B200 King Air VH-HLJ departed Rockhampton Airport for Labona and then Cairns as HND340/1. It has been based at Rockhampton Airport since Monday.
And fellow Beech B200 King Air VH-HJS looked to fly from Cairns and Townsville to Labona before returning to Cairns.
At a guess, Hinterland Aviation are utilising pressurised aircraft to fly above the current inclement weather in the region.
Finally, also on Wednesday 11 January, General Aviation Maintenance (GAM) AeroCommander 500-S VH-YJS diverted to Rockhampton Airport after flyting across from Longreach Airport and being unable to land Barcaldine and Emerald Airports due to weather. It also possibly called into my local Clermont Aerodrome while on the way to Rocky.
