Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail A30-002 Completes Airwork at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport - Plus More!

On Wednesday 7 June, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-002 was noted completing airwork, including several missed approaches, at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.

It had earlier flown up from RAAF Base Williamtown to Townsville and flew down from there to Hervey Bay Airport.  It then returned to Williamtown.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 7 June, RAAF Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft A34-004 as "Kaos 72" and A34-007 as "Kaos 71" returned South from Townsville to RAAF Base Amberley after flying up there via airwork in CQ a few days ago.

On this occasion, A34-004 "Kaos 72" completed more airwork to the South of Dysart before heading to Amberley. A34-007 "Kaos 71" flew down direct to Amberley.
