Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-212 "Stallion 55" at Bundaberg Airport - Plus More!
On Thursday 18 September, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-212 as "Stallion 55" flew up from RAAF Base Amberley at low level to near Bundaberg before it flew over and then completed a couple of approaches at Bundaberg Airport before then returning to Amberley at flight level.
While for the fifth time in just over a week, RAAF Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-005 was back in CQ. This time, it was flying as "Wedgetail 11" and flew up from RAAF Base Williamtown to complete airwork at Mount Isa and Cairns and then to land at Townsville. It then completed more airwork at Emerald Airport before returning to Williamtown.
