Community Cabinet Brings Queensland Government Raytheon Bizjet VH-SGY and King Air VH-SGQ to Gladstone Airport Sunday

It was a busy afternoon at Gladstone Airport on Sunday 25 August with the arrival of two of the Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Airwing aircraft into the port city, bringing Ministers and support staff for a Community Cabinet meeting.

Local plane spotters Michael F, Jamie C and Tash C were on hand to capture the arrival of  - firstly - Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY from Brisbane.

Followed by the arrival of Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ, also from Brisbane.

VH-SGQ later departed on a local flight, and before touching down, performed a spectacular missed approach on Gladstone Airport's Runway 10.

Both aircraft remained parked overnight at Gladstone Airport with meetings continuing into Monday 26 August when both aircraft are expected to depart back to Brisbane.
