New Flying School to Start at Gladstone Airport Next Week

A new flying school will be commencing operations in Gladstone very soon with Pro-Sky of Maryborough working in conjunction with the Gladstone Aero Club to provide the region with quality yet affordable flight training.



The Pro-Sky Flight Training Group is an affiliation of schools operating under a single name to provide the highest level of recreational and sports flight training in Australia.

Pro-Sky are able to offer:
- Trial Instructional Flights
- Courses to RAAus Certification
- RAAus Biennial Flight Reviews
- RAAus Passenger Endorsements
- RAAus X-country Endorsements
- GA to RAAus Conversions

The aircraft to be used will be an almost new Evektor Sportstar - registered 24-8995 - that currently has less than 100 hours total time.  The Sportstar will also be available for hire when not in use for training.




The new Gladstone-based flying school is scheduled to commence flight training at Gladstone Airport on Friday 9 August, and will be operating from the Gladstone Aero Club building, opposite the General Aviation parking apron, which is to the west of the Gladstone Airport Terminal.

Initially, flight training with Pro-Sky will be limited to every Friday and Saturday at Gladstone Airport, however as demand dictates, additional training days will be provided.
