Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Canadair Challenger 604 Bizjet A37-003 - And More - Also at Gladstone Airport This Week

It has truly been a great few days for local plane spotters at Gladstone Airport with some great aircraft to pop in.  On Wednesday 28 August, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet A37-003 of the VIP 34 Squadron in Canberra was spotted visiting Gladstone Airport by Jamie C.

The Challenger departed for Brisbane later in the day as "Envoy 47".

Meanwhile, Jamie also sends through some lovely images of a couple 'lighter' visitors to Gladstone Airport from Tuesday 27 August.

Piper PA-32-300 Cherokee Six VH-JPR was spotted departing for parts unknown.

Piper PA-28R-180 Cherokee Arrow VH-JPW of the Aero Dynamic Flight Academy on the Sunshine Coast was spotted visiting the port city.

As mentioned below, Victoria-based Cessna 310L VH-BDY was spotted visiting Gladstone on what it believed to be a flight along the East Coast of Australia.  On Tuesday 27 August, VH-BDY was spotted departing to the South.

Finally, Jamie captured some lovely late evening photos of General Aviation Maintenance (GAM) Aerocommander 500-S VH-YJL, which operated the week-daily freight runs between Gladstone and Rockhampton and then to Biloela / Thangool Airport during this last week.

Some more great images from Central Queensland's premier aviation photographer.  We sincerely thank Jamie for sending through these photos, and for his continuing contributions during a busy few days at Gladstone Airport.
