A Couple More Photos of LearJet 36A Bizjet N82GG at Rockhampton Airport on Friday

After arriving the previous day from the Gold Coast (See Blog post below), the visiting American registered and privately operated LearJet 36A bizjet N82GG was captured by local plane spotter 'IAD' on Friday 13 May departing Rockhampton Airport on what looked to be a survey flight around the region.

N82GG returned to Rockhampton Airport later in the day.

As shown in the photo above, the LearJet has a camera on the forward-starboard side of the fuselage.  It has been reported that the aircraft is operating aerial mapping sorties for Nearmap - the international provider of high resolution aerial imagery.

UPDATE!  On Saturday 14 May, it looks like N82GG departed Rockhampton Airport and returned South to the Gold Coast.

Sincere thanks to 'IAD' for sending through these great photos!
