Bond Helicopters Sikorsky S-92A Helicopter VH-NYW Ferries Through Longreach Airport Heading to WA

Big Bond Helicopters Sikorsky S-92A helicopter VH-NYW was noted ferrying North from the Sunshine Coast to Mount Isa via Longreach Airport on Wednesday 4 May.

After a period of storage at Caloundra Airport on the Sunshine Coast, VH-NYW is the first of four S-92A helicopters that will ferry back to Western Australia for operations to off-shore oil and gas rigs.

Maryborough-based David G was on the Sunshine Coast recently and kindly sent through these great photos showing all four Bond Helicopters S-92A helicopters parked at Caloundra Airport being prepared to depart to Western Australia - they are believed to be VH-NYW, VH-NYZ, VH-NWV and VH-NWD.
