Qld Gvt Super King Air VH-SGQ - Plus Alliance F-70 VH-QQV - Call into Moranbah Airport

One other political visit of note into CQ on Wednesday 18 May came when the Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and Ministers visited Moranbah to attend the re-opening of the nearby Isaac Plains coal mine.  The Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ noted touching down at Moranbah Airport from Brisbane.

Engagements complete, VH-SGQ later returned to the capital.

Also noted calling into Moranbah Airport on Wednesday 18 May - presumably in support of Premier Palaszczuk's visit - was Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 jet VH-QQV which also touched down from Brisbane but as UTY550.  It too returned to Brisbane a little later in the day but as UTY551.

Finally it appears that Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation SAAB 340B VH-VEM may have also touched down at Moranbah Airport on Wednesday 18 May. It too flew in from Brisbane.
