More US Army Beech C-12V Huron Visits - Plus Yet More Multiple US Army Blackhawk and US Navy Seahawk Helicopter Arrivals and Departures - All at Rockhampton Airport

Another day, yet more US Army and US Navy aircraft and helicopters come and go at Rockhampton Airport.

On Wednesday 10 July, two of the three United States Army (US Army) (US Army Reserve Command) Beech C-12V Huron (Beech B200 King Air) aircraft that are currently deployed to Townsville during joint Military Exercise Talisman Sabre 2019 (TS19) called into Rockhampton Airport.

95-00094 as "Pat 94" looked to call in from Townsville in the morning before departing to Brisbane.  While 95-00088 as "Pat 88" was spotted at Rockhampton Airport in the afternoon after it arrived from Brisbane.  It later departed to Townsville.


Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 10 July, there were yet more multiple US Army UH-60 Blackhawk and US Navy Sikorsky MH-60S Seahawk (Knighthawk) helicopter arrivals and departures at Rockhampton Airport and the nearby 'Camp Rocky'.

US Army Sikorsky UH-60M Blackhawk helicopter (**-)20401 of the 2nd Battalion 158th Aviation Regiment 'Warhawks', lead a formation of four Blackhawks from Rockhampton Airport to the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) as "Bigfoot 01 Flight".

Later, a pair of US Army Sikorsky UH-60M Blackhawk helicopters, lead by (13-)20592 departed and returned to Rocky as "Bigfoot 92 Flight".

While finally, the two United States Navy (USN) Sikorsky MH-60S Seahawk (Knighthawk) helicopters - 167833 / NF-611 and 167871 / NF-621 of the Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 12 (HSC-12) "Golden Falcons" - continued to fly between Rockhampton Airport and Shoalwater Bay as "Hunter 71 Flight".
