RAAF Lockheed C-130J-30 Hercules Transport Aircraft A97-467 "Trojan 02" Arrives into Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

During the afternoon on Monday 8 July, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Lockheed C-130J-30 Hercules transport aircraft A97-467 was photographed soon after arriving into Rockhampton Airport as "Trojan 02".

It looked to initially fly up from RAAF Base Richmond into the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) before landing at Rocky for a short time.

A97-467 then departed to Townsville, again as "Trojan 02".

Meanwhile, it is believed that over the last few days, other RAAF C-130J-30 Hercules transport aircraft has completed airwork in various parts of CQ.  A97-468 and A97-441 have both been noted flying as "Trojan 07" and have been heard is such places at Taroom and Wondai, as well as possibly transiting the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA).

Finally, as the photos show, fellow RAAF Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft A34-005 remained parked at Rockhampton Airport after arriving from RAAF Base Amberley on Sunday 7 July as "Wallaby 02" from RAAF Base Amberley.

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 9 July, A34-005 "Wallaby 02" departed Rockhampton Airport and looked to return to Amberley.
