Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan Transport Aircraft A34-005 Arrives into Rockhampton Airport as "Wallaby 02"

On Sunday 7 July, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft A34-005 was noted arriving into Rockhampton Airport.  It looked to touch down from RAAF Base Amberley and was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Wallaby 02".

At the time of writing, it looks like the C-27J Spartan battlefield airlifter aircraft, which is flown by 35 Squadron out of  Amberley, is staying parked at Rockhampton Airport for the night.

UPDATE!  Indeed A34-005 did stay at Rockhampton Airport for the night with it being photographed (below) parked on the Northern Military Hardstand early on Monday 8 July.

As posted below, A34-005 completed a fly-over of the Exercise Talisman Sabre 2019 (TS19) Open Day at the Rockhampton Showgrounds on Saturday 6 July - see photos above and Blog post above.
