Royal Australian Airforce (RAAF) Delivers More Army Eurocopter (ARH) Tiger Helicopters to Rockhampton Airport
First spotted on Tuesday 7 June, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-206 has now made three (3) visits this week to Rockhampton Airport, and on each occassion, has unloaded two (2) Australian Army Eurocopter (ARH) Tiger Armed Reconnaissance Helicopters.
The purpose of the flights and deliveries is not clear, however it is our understanding that the RAAF is participating in several small exercises in Central and North Queensland in the lead-up to the much larger exercise Talisman Sabre (TS11), so these choppers could be participating in these.
Ben O and other local spotters provide some of the following pictures.

Unfortunately, the Australia Army Tiger helicopter was not showcased during the recent Avalaon Airshow 2011, only the RAN MRH90.
