Military Exercise Talisman Sabre 2011 - Sunday's Highlights at Rockhampton Airport - A Quiet Day!!

There wasn't much movement around Rockhampton Airport on Sunday 10 July, with only a couple of the Australian Army Sikorsky S70A-9 Blackhawk helicopters taking to skies during the morning.

There was also some activity around the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Westland Sea King Mk.50A helicopters, however when I left to come home, they hadn't yet taken to the air.

The only interesting military movement was the United States Marines (USMC) Gulfstream C-20G (Gulfstream IV) 165153 departing for the South as "Ghost 53".

It is pictured above taxiing for departure on Runway 15.

On the civil side of things, one interesting arrival was Hinterland Aviation Beech B200 King Air VH-HLJ.
