In March this year Mackay Airport had achieved one million passengers for the first time ever in a rolling calendar year - Blog post HERE.
An Airport spokesperson said these milestones have come as a result of significant growth in the regoin that has seen record-breaking passenger numbers coming though the airport.
The strong growth is expected to continue.
