CareFlight Queensland Bell 412 VH-XCY Arrives at Gladstone Airport

As we have been reporting in recent weeks, a CareFlight operated rescue helicopter will be based at Gladstone Airport.  The aero medical evacuation (AME) retrieval service (also known as a 'helicopter') will be for the Gladstone region, to help ease pressures on other local medical retrieval services.

Spotted arriving into Gladstone Airport this week was CareFlight's Bell 412EP VH-XCY, looking resplendent in CareFlight's new corporate colour scheme.

The chopper has been temporarily parked out side the Australian Helicopters hangar while works continue on Careflight's 'temporary' hangar and building facilities near the General Aviation apron at Gladstone Airport.
