Careflight Queensland (Aeromed) LearJet 45 VH-VVI Pops into Rockhampton Airport Thursday

Careflight Queensland (Aeromed) LearJet 45 VH-VVI arrived into Rockhampton Airport from the Gold Coast on Thursday 27 March.

Local plane spotter 'IAD' braved the rain, and was able to capture a couple of photos as it was parked on Gate 6 on the Southern end of the Rockhampton Airport apron.

It later departed to Brisbane.

Meanwhile, a couple of bizjets have been around Central Queensland, including NetJets Cessna 501 Citation SP bizjet VH-FUM is registered to - and I assume operated by - Australasian Jet, which arrived into Hamilton Island from Melboune (Essendon) and Roma Airports on Wednesday 26 March.

A familiar visitor in the form of Mackellar Mining Equipment / Flight Options (Australia) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra VH-MMC was again at Emerald Airport this week, arriving from Proserpine / Whitsunday Coast Airport on Wednesday 26 March.  It departed to the Sunshine Coast on Friday 28 March.

Finally, and as reported below, on Wednesday 26 March, the Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Raytheon Hawker 850XP VH-SGY made an early morning visit to Rockhampton, while the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-PSU, called into Bundaberg and Rockhampton Airports.  It was due to land at Mackay, but bad weather in the area forced it to divert to Townsville.
