Spectacular Photos of RAAF Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A A30-002 "Wedgetail 01" at Rockhampton Airport

Rockhampton plane spotters Kayanne H and 'IAD' were at the right places at the right time to capture some stunning images of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft - A30-002 - as it performed a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport on Monday 17 March.

Kayanne was standing in her backyard and capture some great 'wheels down' photos as the Wedgetail was on its final approach.

'IAD' then captured the Wedgetail as it climbed out after conducting the missed approach on Rocky's Runway 33.

A30-002 was heard to receive clearance to Richmond Air Base near Sydney.  It was using the radio callsign on "Wedgetail 01".

Some great photos - and we sincerely thank Kayanne and 'IAD' for sending them through!
