Meanwhile, Another Flyaway has Touched Down at Central Queensland Airports This Week

I've followed with interest over recent days a group of (at least) four light aircraft as they seemingly they fly around Queensland on a nice little adventure.  These aircraft initially touched down at Hamilton Island Airport on Saturday 3 May from Ingham and earlier Karuma in Far North Queensland.  On Monday 5 May, they departed Hamo for Gladstone, and eventually, Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.

Information suggests that four of the aircraft are:  Cessna 182 VH-JCU and Cessna 172 VH-WGL of the Darling Downs Aero Club, along with Gold Coast-based Cessna 210-5 VH-RYB and Cessna 182 VH-MST.

Meanwhile, also noted at Hamilton Island over this past weekend - where the Hilly Half Marathon was held - was Australasian Jet Beech B200 King Air VH-ZMO, Diamond Aircraft Industries DA-40 VH-PVF and Cessna 340A VH-LKM.

Some nice lighties visiting Central Queensland!  If anyone has more details about these fly-around aircraft, feel free to drop us a line!
