Certainly becoming a rare sight now was Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 VH-VUK - which wears the red Virgin Blue colour scheme - spotted calling into Rockhampton Airport on Tuesday 6 January.
It was operating the scheduled VOZ1245/1248 service from and back to Brisbane.
VH-VUK and VH-VUL (shown below at Rocky early in 2014) are the last two Virgin B737s that remain the red colours of Virgin Blue.
On Sunday 4 January, Virgin B737-700 VH-VBZ was positioned to Townsville and subsequently entered the paint shop to have the new white Virgin Australia colour scheme applied.

Of interest, its final service before this was to Mackay and back to Brisbane as VOZ613/614.
