PNG Registered Pacific Helicopters Bell 212 P2-PAT Passes Through Bundaberg Airport Heading South - Plus Citation VH-NEQ Visited over the Weekend!

On Monday 7 December, Papua New Guinea (PNG) based Pacific Helicopters Bell 212 P2-PAT was heard to be flying South through Central Queensland - and it was believed to have landed at Bundaberg Airport for fuel.

I believe that P2-PAT was flying South to Redcliffe as it is from there where fellow Pacific Helicopters Bell 212 P2-PAN ferried back to PNG from last week.

Meanwhile, a couple of other interesting light General Aviation (GA) aircraft and a bizjet have also called into Bundaberg Airport over the last couple of days.  Recently re-registered (former Skypac Aviation) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-NEQ I believe called into Bundy late on Saturday 5 December.  It was noted leaving Bundaberg on Sunday 6 December, returning South to Bankstown.

On the lighter side of GA movements, a pair of Basair Australia Piper PA-28-161 Warrior aircraft - VH-LXJ and VH-LXQ - were noted passing through Bundaberg Airport on Monday 7 December while on a flight from Archerfield to Longreach.  They were also due to call into Emerald Airport after Bundy.

And finally, locally-based CromAir Cessna 414A VH-CBT departed Bundaberg for Maryborough and Toowoomba on Sunday 6 December.  It later returned to Bundy from Toowoomba.
