A Couple of Interesting Light GA Aircraft at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport

Over the last couple of days, I've noted a few interesting light General Aviation (GA) aircraft to call into Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.  Perhaps the nicest arrival has been Broome Air Services Cessna 208B Caravan VH-CRN which touched down from Cairns on Thursday 14 January.

Another Cessna 208B in the form of Seair Pacific (Istlecote) Caravan VH-VCW was also due to call into Hervey Bay from Redcliffe also on Thursday 14 January.  VH-VCW is usually one of three or four Seair Caravans that fly from the Gold Coast and other places in the South-East corner to the Fraser Coast and specifically Lady Elliot Island.

Meanwhile also on Thursday 14 January, Rockhampton-based Peace Aviation Beech A36 Bonanza VH-MMB called into Hervey Bay from Rocky, while Beech F33A Bonanza VH-ZBZ touched down from Brisbane.

On Friday 15 January, Cirrus SR22 VH-YSH visited Hervey Bay from Archerfield.  Later, Brisbane-based Cessna 340 VH-LKM also touched down at Hervey Bay from Archerfield via Gladstone.  Both lighties - and Bonanza VH-ZBZ - all later departed to Archerfield.

Finally, a pair of Maroochy Air lighties were noted flying in and out of Hervey Bay on Friday 15 January with Cessna 182 VH-TOE departing to Archerfield and Monto before returning while, Piper PA-46R-350T Malibu VH-UPY was noted arriving at Hervey Bay from the Sunshine Coast.
