Some Plane Spotting Photos from Aldinga Airfield in South Australia

Yes - South Australia is a very long way from Central Queensland - but follower of and contributor to the CQ Plane Spotting Blog - Phil M - has recently shared with me an album of plane spotting photos he captured while on a recent family holiday in South Australia.  He visited the Aldinga Airfield located around 50kms from Adelaide and kindly allowed us to share his photos from what looks to be a very picturesque setting.

Phil's photos show that Aldinga is used by a wide variety of light General Aviation (GA) aircraft for flight training and for scenic joyflights.  One major operator at the Airfield with a nice selection of vintage aircraft is Adelaide Biplanes - website:  http://www.adelaidebiplanes.com.au/

Aldinga Aviation - also based at the Airfield - has developed a great website to assist all visitors and users utilising the Aldinga Airfield and visiting the surrounding McLaren Vale Wine Region, who choose to fly in - link:  http://www.aldingaaviation.com.au/

Sincere thanks to Phil for allowing us to share his magnificent photos.
