Virgin Australia B737-800 VH-VUY Breaks Down at Hamilton Island Airport - Causes VH-YFJ to Divert in on Thursday night

A couple of interesting movements at Hamilton Island Airport late on Thursday 30 June with Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 VH-YFJ noted to have diverted into Hamo while operating the evening VOZ791 service from Brisbane to Cairns.  After less than half-an-hour on the ground, VH-YFJ continued to Cairns.

I can only assume that this diversion into Hamo had something to do with fellow Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 VH-VUY a little later after VH-YFJ departed as the now somewhat delayed VOZ1498 service to Brisbane.

VH-VUY arrived at Hamilton Island Airport as VOZ1497 from Brisbane much earlier on Thursday 30 June and looks to have had serviceability issues.
