Elit'Avia (Malta) Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express Bizjet 9H-JSY Calls into Hamilton Island Airport

Certainly a stunning arrival into Hamilton Island Airport late on Wednesday 25 April with Elit'Avia (Malta) Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express bizjet 9H-JSY touching down from Sydney.  It was noted using the flight number and radio callsign of 'EAU36Y'.

The sleek Global Express has been a regular visitor to Australia in recent weeks completing several flights between Sydney and Fa'a'ā International Airport in Tahiti, French Polynesia.

At the time of writing on Thursday 26 April, 9H-JSY looked to be still parked up on Hamo.

Meanwhile, another interesting bizjet to arrive on Hamilton Island Airport was Skypac Aviation Cessna 550 Citation II VH-FYP which touched down at Hamo from Bankstown and Cessnock in New South Wales on Monday 23 April.  It too has remained parked on Hamo.

Finally, also at the time of writing, Mackellar Mining Equipment / Flight Options (Australia) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-MMC was noted arriving into Emerald Airport early on Thursday 26 April.  It touched down from its Sunshine Coast base.

UPDATE!  After spending the day on the ground at Emerald Airport, VH-MMC returned to the Sunny Coast later in the day.
