VH-YUL at Rockhampton Airport last year (File photo) |
It had flown into Far North Queensland from Melbourne (Moorabbin) via Charleville earlier in the week.
VH-YUL looked to be staying for at least the night. It is assumed that the passengers are involved with the annual Campdraft Event at the nearby Paradise Lagoons where the Yulgibar symbol has been spotted during promotions of the event.
UPDATE! On Friday 20 July, VH-YUL departed Rockhampton Airport for Baryulgil in Northern New South Wales.
Meanwhile, another nice little Cessna Citation bizjet which called back into Rockhampton Airport but on Wednesday 18 July was Graham Aviation (Cairns) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang VH-FNI. It arrived from Bankstown via the Ballina/Byron Gateway Airport in Northern New South Wales. After taking on fuel, VH-FNI continued to Cairns before returning 'home' to Mareeba.
VH-FNI had passed through Rocky heading to Bankstown on Sunday 15 July.
Finally, on Monday 16 July and again on Wednesday 18 July, the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-PSU looked to complete prisoner transfer flights up and down the Queensland coast with it calling into Rockhampton Airport amongst other CQ Airports.
UPDATE! VH-PSU was back in CQ once again on Friday 20 July.
