Exercise Wallaby 2018 - Second Wave of Heavy Jet Charters into Rockhampton Airport Commence - New Royal Brunei Airlines Boeing B787-8 Dreamliner V8-DLE Calls In

Late on a rainy and stormy Saturday 13 October, the second 'wave' of heavy jet charter flights in support of the Singapore Armed Force's Exercise Wallaby 2018 kicked off with new Royal Brunei Airlines Boeing B787-8 Dreamliner V8-DLE touching down direct from Singapore's Changi Airport as RBA4273.

As per usual, the Dreamliner touched down and parked on Gate 6 on the southern end of the parking apron.

After unloading and re-loading full flights of passengers and their bags, V8-DLE departed back to Singapore as RBA4272.  It is then expected to turn around and head back to Rockhampton Airport but as RBA4271 where it will touch down in the afternoon on Sunday 14 October.

Of interest, V8-DLE is the airline's youngest of their five Dreamliners being delivered to Royal Brunei in June this year!
