Skytrans Dash-8-100 VH-QQG Calls into Mackay Airport on Sports Charter Flight

On Sunday 12 May, Skytrans Airlines Dash-8-100 VH-QQG was noted visiting Mackay Airport while operating a closed charter flight.  It arrived from Townsville as SKP9178 having arrived there from Cairns the previous day as SKP9176.

It is believed that VH-QQG brought the Cairns-based men's and women's basketball teams to play the local Mackay teams in the latest round of the Queensland Basketball League (QBL).

With the games complete, VH-QQG returned direct to Cairns from Mackay Airport but as SKP9179.
