Australian Army Boeing CH-47F 'Foxtrot' Chinook Helicopter A15-304 "Chainsaw 11" Spotted at Rockhampton Airport

On Saturday 20 July, Australian Army Boeing CH-47F 'Foxtrot' Chinook helicopter A15-304 was photographed completing a late afternoon visit to Rockhampton Airport.

It looked to arrive from and later depart back to the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) and was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Chainsaw 11".

The Chook also completed the same flight earlier in the day.

A15-304 is flown by the Army's 5th Aviation Regiment (C Squadron) based at Townsville.
